Progressive Compound Die Cutting Services of Polyester Film Motor Shrouds for the Automotive Industry

The polyester film motor shroud shown here is used within an automotive electrical application. We developed this product over 30 years ago with a client who manufactures electrical components. The product is still in production today in various forms and has been produced in many different sizes.

This particular example features an outside diameter of 1.017", an inside diameter of 0.520" (minor), and with a thickness of 0.005". Because of this application's need for precision it is also held to tolerances of ±0.0005". We can typically develop new tooling in eight weeks, and produce ongoing orders in as little as two weeks.
